The arrival of winter also heralds the arrival of wet weather. Rain, snow, and sleet create mud and often find their way into the floors of homes under construction. Keeping floors clean and dry not only protects finishes in a home, prevention also leads to saving time cleaning. Numerous affordable and easy to use methods are available to keep water and mud out of homes.

Walk-off Mats are among the easiest ways to keep mud and water off of new floors. Laying flat on the ground in front of entryways - these adhesive mats feature removable pages that capture and remove the dirt and debris from the bottom of work boots. Sturdy plastic bases keep the mats in place, and the adhesive pages can be replaced with refill packs. At a size of 24" x 36", these walk-off mats are in essence welcome mats for jobsites.

Coronavirus Jobsite Posters Now Available - Full Suite of Covid-19 Building Supplies

Builders have been considered an essential business since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, and their product needs have been changing and adapting all along. Everything from additional hand sanitizer and washing stations to daily safety meetings and checklists have been required. In that same vein, as more builders begin to restart operations, they will be in need of Covid-19 supplies for the first time. There can serve as great temporary partitions on a jobsite or in a public space. For a more permanent barrier to be used in places such as hospitals and labs, Edge-Guard wall barrier systems are in-stock and ready to ship. These systems can be used to create temporary walls with negative air pressure inside, and are approved for use in hospital construction.

Walk-Off Mat Floor Protection On Sale Now

For years one of our most popular floor protection products has been sticky Walk-Off Mats. These adhesive floor mats collect and trap dirt and debris from boots before they get tracked onto a jobsite. Residential builders often place walk-off mats at the base of all doorways exposed to heavy foot traffic, keeping the interior floors cleaner  as they do so.

For a limited time only, the standard four pack of adhesive walk-off mats will be discounted in a website-only special sale. Walk-off mats are now priced at $88.20, a discount of about 10%.

Walk-off mats are available in a pack of four and an individual pack of one called the Starter Kit. The starter kit features a skid resistant plastic base that hold the sticky mats in place. We have published a new press release detailing the floor protection we are providing to W.G. Clark's new Main Street Flats project.

CoverGuard Economy floor protection is being used to protect concrete slabs from wheeled equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts. SCP Cloth Shoe Covers

Walk-off adhesive mats are a regular floor protection solution on jobsite, both residential and commercial alike. By preventing dirt and debris from entering a workspace, Walk-off mats save time in cleaning costs and can prevent floor damage to begin with. We carry two types of adhesive floor mats. We offer a standard pack, totaling 120 sheets, as well as a starter kit, which has 30 sheets and includes a plastic base. We recommended beginning with the Starter Kit, then using the standard packs to refill mats as needed. 

We carry a range of shoe covers for every builders' need. Starting with SCP disposable cloth shoe covers, which are ideal for temporary applications such as showing a home. When a shoe cover needs to be waterproof, the SPL line of shoe covers is ideal. Made from plastic and featuring an elastic band to keep the covers securely tied around a boot, these can stand up to wet weather and mud. Finally, Tyvek shoe covers are the strongest on the market. Made from reinforced Tyvek plastic, thse shoe covers are strong, tear-resistant, and waterproof.
