Healthcare Construction and Surface Protection

Medical construction projects are work that more and more companies are being contracted to complete. Healthcare construction has been steadily growing in recent years, and for 2020 there is yet another 4% increase forecast. Not only is healthcare construction relatively recession-proof, it is being carried out nationwide and isn't specific to fast-growing metro areas.

To keep up with this growing need, Builders Site Protection has begun to focus on surface protection and equipment needs specific to hospital and medical projects.
Edge-Guard Barrier Panels
We have been extremely proactive in providing Edge-Guard barrier systems to general contractors all across the Northwest. Hospital projects in Eugene, Salem, Portland, and Seattle are all now using Edge-Guard barriers on site. Edge-Guard is a configurable system that allows builders to create a negative air system that can suit any size project. Everything from negative air ports, locking doors, air pressure monitor gauges, and different color panels are available.

Mobile Containment Units are a required tool for electricians, HVAC companies, and other installation specialists working in hospital environments. Containment Units can be both bought or rented through Northwest Abatement Rental and are the quickest and easiest way to set up a negative air workspace.

Other common healthcare construction supplies include walk-off sticky mats and other common dust containment supplies such as Poly Grabber ceiling clips. Fire-rated floor protection options such as CoverGuard and the non-fire resistant CoverGuard Economy are also both popular options on hospital and healthcare construction projects.
