Supporting Small Business: Why It's a Smart Move for Contractors to Buy Local Vs Large Box Stores
Surface Protection Expert Heather Ley just had an article published about why it is better for contractors to support small local businesses rather than large box stores when purchasing construction supplies. Although prices can be a bit higher than places like Home Depot or Lowes, nothing beats the customer service of a small, family owned business like Builders Site Protection!

Cloth vs. Poly Latex Shoe Covers: Which is Best for Your Project?
Builders Site Protection offers two different types of shoe covers; polypropylene (cloth) and poly latex (plastic). Both are made from high-quality, tear-resistant material and prevent the spread of dust on construction sites. As a builder, you want to choose the best product for your job site. So which shoe cover is best for you?
Poly Latex (Plastic): These heavy duty shoe covers are 9 mils thick and reusable. The diamond-pattern non-skid bottom provides superior slip protection to the polypropylene shoe covers. The poly latex booties are water proof so they may be used on wet surfaces. They are more durable than the cloth booties and are tear-resistant.
Polypropylene (Cloth): Cloth shoe covers
are disposable and best for short-term use. They are great for customer service calls and show customers that you care about keeping their home or office dirt-free. Cloth booties are not waterproof, so use them on dry floors. Although they have a slight skid-resistant backing they are not as slip resistant as poly latex shoe covers. Polypropylene shoe covers do not scratch delicate surfaces and are great for soft hardwood floors such as pine.
