Builders Site Protection Will be in Reno and Sacramento This Week

From Wednesday March 20th through Friday the 23rd, Builders Site Protection's president Pat Mullen will be working with and meeting builders in the greater Reno and Sacramento areas. Not only will she be meeting with existing customers, she will also be stopping at new jobsites and projects and introducing the company.

This is a great opportunity for builders to see surface protection products up close on their jobsite. Often times we have found that builders unsure of whether or not their custom finishes and features can be protected are pleasantly surprised when they see surface protection in person.

We have published a new press release detailing the floor protection we are providing to W.G. Clark's new Main Street Flats project.

CoverGuard Economy floor protection is being used to protect concrete slabs from wheeled equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts. Clean & Safe water resistant floor protection is being used inside units to prevent mud and water from getting tracked onto the new floors. Finally, walk-off mats are being placed at this projects entrances to limit the amount of dirt and debris entering the jobsite; minimizing  clean-up costs and finish damages.

Mobile Containment Units Now In-Stock

In addition to being the West Coast's premier surface protection provider, Builders site Protection also specializes in a wide array of abatement, containment, and remediation products and supplies. One such popular containment system is our Mobile Containment Cube.

Mobile Containment Units are are systems designed for work in an environment where contamination cannot happen, and negative air filtration is required. Typically construction and maintenance work in hospitals, labs, and high tech facilities necessitate the use of containment units. Containment carts such as the one pictured above are collapsible and mounted to mobile carts, allowing them to quickly be moved and stored.

Containment units are built to be compatible with negative air scrubbers. Using exhaust ports built into the containment unit, and air scrubber can be connected to the unit, providing negative air to prevent contamination, and providing HEPA filtration to meet strict contamination standards. Air Scrubbers are not included with containment units, however they can be ordered together, and we do carry a number of air scrubbers on our website.

Because systems like these are designed for hospital use, they meet extremely strict standards and regulations for fire resistance. This particular unit is certified with the CA Fire Marshall, and is compliant with CDC, AIA, NFPA, and CSA standards.

EZ Cover Temporary Concrete Protection Now In Stock

We are happy to announce that we now stock EZ Cover temporary concrete protection in our warehouse. This allows to more quickly ship EZ Cover to our customers nationwide. Whereas EZ Cover used to be shipped direct from the factory via freight, it can now ship same-day via UPS, getting it to your jobsite quicker than ever.

EZ Cover is the leading breathable concrete surface protection for newly-laid and curing concrete slabs. EZ Cover doesn't trap vapors onto the surface of new concrete slabs, allowing them to cure perfectly, cleanly, and while protected from damage. Because EZ Cover is breathable, it is the ideal surface protection for freshly poured slabs, decorative slabs, and other high end and interior concrete work.

EZ Cover remains in place on concrete, terrazzo, marble, and hardwood due to its composition. It features a soft bottom layer under a hard and impact resistant top layer. This soft bottom layer holds EZ Cover in place, greatly reducing the time and tape needed to secure surface protection. The strong top layer prevents equipment such as scissor lifts and dropped tools from damaging concrete slabs.

EZ Cover is sold in 4' x 50' rolls and can be easily cut down to size by the user if needed. Each 200sqft roll of EZ Cover is $144.50.
