Mobile Containment Units Now In-Stock

In addition to being the West Coast's premier surface protection provider, Builders site Protection also specializes in a wide array of abatement, containment, and remediation products and supplies. One such popular containment system is our Mobile Containment Cube.

Mobile Containment Units are are systems designed for work in an environment where contamination cannot happen, and negative air filtration is required. Typically construction and maintenance work in hospitals, labs, and high tech facilities necessitate the use of containment units. Containment carts such as the one pictured above are collapsible and mounted to mobile carts, allowing them to quickly be moved and stored.
Our Floor demo Containment Cube setup
Containment units are built to be compatible with negative air scrubbers. Using exhaust ports built into the containment unit, and air scrubber can be connected to the unit, providing negative air to prevent contamination, and providing HEPA filtration to meet strict contamination standards. Air Scrubbers are not included with containment units, however they can be ordered together, and we do carry a number of air scrubbers on our website.

Because systems like these are designed for hospital use, they meet extremely strict standards and regulations for fire resistance. This particular unit is certified with the CA Fire Marshall, and is compliant with CDC, AIA, NFPA, and CSA standards.

Expanded Air Scrubber Product Line Now Available From Builders Site Protection

Builders Site Protection is expanding its product line of Air Scrubbers/Negative Air machines. In addition to more machines available, replacement filters and other accessories can now be purchased.
Air Scrubbers are a piece of equipment most commonly used in abatement contracting and hospital construction work. Using three filters and a powerful fan, Air Scrubbers draw in contaminated air, filter it through a HEPA filter, then discharge the clean air. Air Scrubbers run off standard power outlets, and feature additional power outlets for jobsite tools. Scrubbers can be run in conjunction with each other, and can be stacked to save space.

Air Scrubbers can be used as freestanding units to filter particulates in a room, or they can be used to establish negative air pressures, ensuring that no contaminates leave a work area. Negative air is most commonly used in asbestos removal projects and in hospital construction work, as dangerous particles in the air need to be cleaned, removed, and kept separate from outside the jobsite. Air Scrubbers are a component of ICRA standards that must be met on applicable jobsites.

New Air Scrubbers and Abatement Supplies Now On Our Website

In an effort to continually grow and expend our line of specialty abatement supplies, we now offer a wider array of Air Scrubbers than ever before. Now available in a range of sizes, capacity, and materials, our line of Air Scrubbers is capable of handling the needs of any project.

PAS600 Air Scrubber
Air Scrubbers draw air from a contaminated source and filter air to remove particulate matter. When set up in an enclosed space, scrubbers pass contaminated air through a high-efficiency HEPA filter, then through an exhaust vent outside of the enclosed workspace. In doing so, a negative air pressure is maintained within the work space, ensuring that no particulate matter escapes the work area. Cleaning the air and removing the contaminated particulate matter from air is an integral part of a remediation project, and it accelerates how quickly mold, smoke, and other damage can be repaired.

The new portable air scrubbers, manufactured by Abatement Technologies, are among the most compact and portable scrubbers available. Ideal for anything from home remodel and remediation projects to commercial sized restoration, our customers have relied on these machines like this for years.

Specialty Abatement Supplies Available from Builders Site Protection

In addition to surface protection supplies for construction projects, we also carry a huge range of specialty abatement supplies and materials. We are the Central Oregon distributor for Fiberlock, a manufacturer of specialty abatement, cleaning, and lead remediation products. Anything from contaniment units to anti-mold treatments, Fiberlock is an industry leader in abatement supplies.

Locally, our business is increasing sales of specialty abatement supplies. As winter approaches, that inevitably means that snow, rain, water damage, and mold are not far behind. Contractors become very busy come spring, and it can take months to get damage fixed for a reasonable price. However, using abatement supplies on your own is something most people can do. Many professional-grade abatement supplies such as Aftershock, Shockwave, and other mold killers, can be applied via paint roller or brush.
