90 Day RamBoard Edge Tape Now Available

We carry a wide array of tapes, meant to cover metal thresholds and jambs, create dust barriers with two sided adhesion, and even provide flame resistant seals for floor protection - and we're always looking out for more tapes to provide. Now, we're excited to announce that we carry RamBoard's new 90 Day Edge Tape. 

90 Day Edge Tape is a plastic tape that is strong enough to be repositionable, and placed for up to 90 days without wearing down or allowing adhesive transfer. The woven plastic texture allows the tape to be town to size without any tools - no cutting needed. This tape is ideal for paper based floor protection products such as RamBoard, White-Top Paper, and X-board. 

Each roll of tape is 1.89" wide by 164' feet long. We recommend using a rule of thumb of one roll of Edge Tape per roll of standard RamBoard (100'). Rolls are sold individually or by case of 24.

RamBoard Stair Armor Now In Stock

Stair protection is now in stock and available from Builders Site Protection. RamBoard Stair Armor is the newest stair protection brought to market, and it's both affordable and easy to use. Stair Armor features indentations that easily fold into place and is held down by masking tape.

Available by the case or in packs of six, Stair Armor can accommodate and project, large or small. Stair Armor is 34" wide and features an adjustable guard that can work with any size toe-kick. This stair protection features a padding on the bottom to ensure that nothing trapped under the Stair Armor can scratch stairs.

Stair Armor also shares many features with RamBoard. Like RamBoard, Stair Armor is made from a paper-based board material, and it features a spill guard which prevents against light water damage. It is non-staining and fully recyclable; effectively RamBoard for stairs.

Stair Armor is offered in packs of 6, which cost $39.99, however if you act quickly you can purchase a bundle of 6 Stair Armor pieces on sale for $30.99. Tape Applicators Now Available From Builders Site Protection

We are pleased to announce that we now carry Tape Applicators for use with floor protection. Tape Applicators are a great way to hasten the installation of floor protection. Reusable and easy to use, Tape Applicators are something our customers have asked us about for years. 

Tape Applicators can dramatically speed up the installation time of floor protection. Products such as RamBoard, CoverGuard, and Corrugated Plastic Sheets can all be quickly laid down and taped together using a Tape Applicator. Our new tape applicators work with any tapes up to 4" wide. This means that applicators work with standard packing tape, Red Polyethylene Tape, Ram Board Vapor Cure Tape, Ram Board Seam Tape, and nearly every other tape we sell.

Each reusable Tape Applicator is $179.99, and can be reused for a variety of protection on numerous projects.

In addition to Tape Applicators, we also offer Film Applicators in an array of sizes. The quickest way to apply carpet films, we offer applicators in 24", 30", 36", and 48" widths, which together handle every size of standard carpet film on the market. In much the same way as tape applicators, film applicators reduce the installation time of carpet films by applying them as they are pushed along, removing the need for manually pulling the film and applying it by hand.

DoorGuard Being Used In New Downtown Portland Project

We just reached a deal to provide our DoorGuard temporary door protection and RamBoard floor protection to Andersen Construction's new Heartline residential project in downtown Portland, Oregon. This project is a mixed-use residential tower with 218 high end apartment units. Situated in the Pearl District of downtown Portland, the location of these apartments is extremely desirable. A mix of concrete and structural steel frame glass curtain walls, Heartline is unique and bold in its architecture.

Andersen Construction has relied on our DoorGuard door protection for numerous projects in the past. DoorGuard is a temporary door protector made from reinforced fiber board. DoorGuard is novel in that it attaches to doors with two elastic bands, which serve to hold the protection in place while the door maintains functional use. We have also supplied RamBoard floor protection to a number of Andersen's Oregon projects.

We're proud to maintain this continued working relationship, and we look forward to providing local surface protection to Andersen Construction's projects moving forward.
