New Surface Protection Tapes Now Available

We carry a wide array of tapes for a near endless variety of uses and finish protection; however we're always on the lookout for more. As such, we've added a few new tapes for even more finish protection applications. 

14-day Edge Tape is a new RamBoard tape developed with hardwood floors in mind. It is rated for two weeks on hardwood floors, and is designed not to leave residue within that timeframe. This tape is bright orange which serves as a great visual aid to demarcate where floor protection is in place. This tape is 2.5" x 180', and we recommend one roll of tape per 100' of floor protection. 

 

We have also added another green plastic based tape in addition to our popular Clean Green tape. 90-day Edge Tape is a durable, repositionable, plastic tape rated for up to 90 day usage. This is a great option for long term projects and for use on concrete floors, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. This tape is available in 1.89" width x 164' length. 

These tapes are ideal for a wide array of surface protection products. Paper based floor protection such as RamBoard, Stair Armor, and variants of builders paper products require tapes for usage on floors and counter tops. Durable, resuable plastic products such as CoverGuard and Tuf-Guard are also both compatible with these tapes in applications for hardwood and concrete.

We have just restocked on All-Protect, one of the most well-liked and popular surface protection solutions on the market. Easy to use and often times reusable, All-Protect is quick and effective solution for protecting some of the toughest finishes to cover.

All-Protect is among the most versatile surface protection offered on the market. It is a reusable felt-based material, backed with a slight adhesive. This adhesive is ideal for attachment to stainless steel, aluminum, granite, hardwood, and more. All-Protect's surface is absorbent and non-slip, making it safe to lay on high foot traffic areas.

Originally designed for use on and in high-end aircraft work, it has been readily adopted by builders working on their own high-end finishes. Contractors like All-Protect because it can be quickly used to cover vertical and curved surfaces. This makes it an ideal solution for use in elevators and with custom built/irregularly shaped finishes.

All-Protect is available in 39" wide by 82' long rolls, totalling 273 sqft per roll. All-Protect is 98 mils thick. It's adhesive bottom layer is guaranteed not to leave residue on fully cured finishes and hard surfaces. When stored in a clean and dust-free environment, All Protect's adhesive bottom layer can be reused and placed multiple times.

Kraft Scrim Paper is a popular low-cost was to provide waterproof protection to any surface. For years it has kepts many jobsite's surfaces clean, dry, and scratch-free. Unlike other low-mil papers, it resists punctures and tearing. Scrim Paper is commonly used on floors, countertops, walls, and surfaces with delicate finishes that are sensitive to adhesives. Because we now carry this product in-house, we can eliminate any lead time and ship it anywhere the same day you order it.
