Protection for the interior panels and the exterior jambs of elevators is one of the most common requests we're asked. Commercial builders have struggled for years keeping their elevator cabs clean and scratch free.
Because elevators are a variety of sizes, no standardized surface
protection product has been made to protect them. However, with new
All-Protect, elevator surface protection has become simpler than before.
All-Protect is an adhesive liner that can be applied to a wide range of
finish surfaces. Soft on top, with a spill-proof adhesive liner on the back, All-Protect offers both impact and scratch damage protection. Because All-Protect is soft to the touch, there is no need to worry about the material damaging the surface it is protecting. It is easy to cut to size, and due to its adhesive it can be used on both vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Recently, commercial builders in Portland have been
turning towards All-Protect to protect their elevators. Because
All-Protect is adhesive, applying it to cover the inside of their cabs
is relatively quick and easy.
The 40" x 82' rolls provide 273 sqft of coverage. Each roll is an ideal size for protecting an entire elevator cab.

Trimaco's SuperTuff Heavy Duty is a do it all surface protection. Concrete slabs, brick, tile, granite, and just about any other solid material can be protected with SuperTuff. SuperTuff is soft to the touch, spill resistant, and can remain in overlapped place without using taped seams.
These rolls are black in color, with a grey felt material layered on top of a durable plastic based membrane. Available in 36" x 100' size, SuperTuff Heavy Duty will cover 300 square feet per roll. Because of it's partially plastic composition, it is a reusable material. Clean it off, pack it up, and save it for the next job.
SuperTuff mats and rolls have been used for a wide variety of applications. They are ideal for preventing oil from cars and trucks staining new driveways, as well as keeping fluids from parked forklifts and scissor lifts from staining new slabs on commercial projects.
We've also provided SuperTuff as a long-term barrier to be placed on a slab with Masonite on top, ensuring that nothing gets caught between the expensive floor and the wood barrier above. Any screws, splinters, or other debris won't damage the floor because of the pliable nature of SuperTuff - even with heavy equipment driving on the Masonite boards placed on top.

Construction jobsites damage new flooring more often than any other finish. This holds true across both residential custom home projects and large-scale commercial construction projects. Accordingly, it is vital to use surface protection on new floors in order to keep those expensive new floors looking immaculate.
While using surface protection on interior finishes is generally quite easy, there is one very important consideration to make when protecting a new floor – breathability.
Breathable surface protection is a class of materials that do not trap moisture or gas vapors on surfaces while they are being used. Any flooring material that requires time to cure in order to be finished is one in which using surface protection specifically marked for breathability is vital.
Without the ability to breathe and ventilate moisture and gas, surface protection covering a new floor can leave the floor looking scuffed and damaged – despite being otherwise protected from typical jobsite damage. These unsightly blemishes are most commonly known as curing lines, and they form on curing surfaces that are in some way blocked from venting. This is frequently due to leaving solid plastic-based materials on them when they need to breathe.

| Tuf-Guard Floor Protection |
To solve this problem, a variety of specially designed surface protection coverings are now breathable.
Foremost is Tuf-Guard, an industry leading breathable temporary floor protection. Tuf-Guard is designed with high end concrete and hardwood in mind, great examples of floor finishes that requires time to fully cure. Made from a bespoke synthetic fiber-based material, Tuf-Guard is not only breathable but also slip-resistant. It is an ideal floor protection because not only can it withstand use from heavy machinery, it is also spill resistant. This ensures that the scissor lifts driving on top of Tuf-Guard won’t damage a new floor by dropping equipment onto it or spilling hydraulic fluid and oil onto the protected floor.
Other breathable floor protection options are available, such as Trimaco’s FloorShell. FloorShell is a popular alternative to RamBoard, both use recycled paper fibers to create a strong floor protection layer. Not only is this material strong, it is easy to cut to shape, making it a great option to use on vertical surfaces and countertops.

Surface Liner Vapor floor protection
Made with hardwood flooring in mind, Surface Liner Vapor is among the best breathable floor protection options for residential construction projects. Soft to the touch and non-slip even on hardwood stairs, Surface Liner Vapor is ideal for protecting anything made from wood. Surface Liner Vapor is also spill resistant
With the onset of meteorological fall upon us, it is only a matter of time until more consistent rain and wet weather is falling on jobsites around the country. With that comes mud, dirt, and other plenty of weather-related ways to mess up flooring.
Because they are made from durable plastic, these poly shoe covers are reusable, and can even be rinsed off and cleaned for further use. At 9 mils thick, they prove to be quite durable. The material construction of these shoe covers features a diamond plate-like skid resistant bottom, making them unlikely to cause slipping, even if used on wet flooring. An elastic band at the top of each shoe cover ensures a secure fit over boots, even large ones.
Multiple quantities of these shoe covers are available. Large scale builders can opt for a case of 150 pairs, or, if you have a small project/need for them they are also available in bags of 50 and bags of 10 pairs. A wide array of shoe covers are available to suit differing needs. Check out the Shoe Covers page of our site for more information.

With wildfire season already in full swing weeks earlier than usual, smoke has proven to be an irritating menace so far this summer. Both at home and at work, wildfire smoke is a very present and harmful irritant. Fortunately, there is an easy to use tool to solve the issue of smoke particulate indoors.
Air Scrubbers feature three stage filtration, with smoke particulate filtered by a Merv-13 prefilter before reaching a medical grade HEPA filter. With multiple large filters, Air Scrubbers filter both more of, and smaller contaminants from the air compared to normal household systems.
Beyond retail, Air Scrubbers have value in manufacturing settings as well. Smoke particulate can contaminate everything from food products to specialized composite materials manufacturing.

The delta variant of Covid has now, for the third time, brought many hospitals, mental facilities, and other large institutions to their breaking points. Here in Central Oregon, our hospitals are crowded beyond anything seen during the first two surges of this pandemic. Many other places that fared relatively well over the past year are now struggling, as seen in Florida.
Due to this new wave of infection, there is again a sudden and desperate need for infection control measures. To this end, the Edge Guard temporary barrier system is once again in demand. Existing hallways, rooms, and space can be quickly converted to isolated negative air/infection control centers.
Edge Guard systems are already used in hospitals, making them ideal for infection control measures. This system is the often used system among commercial contractors doing construction work in medical and laboratory buildings. Already approved for all OSHA/medical metrics, Edge Guard is designed to be quickly, easily, and safely assembled in medical settings.
Panels, locking doors, corners, HEPA ports, and all other Edge Guard accessories are compatible with each other, allowing this unit to be specially designed for any size and shape of enclosure. Panel orders can be mixed and matched, adjustable in height from 7'8" to 14' tall. Panel widths range from 6" to 52". Negative air equipment can be routed through the available ports, and the 4' wide doors can accommodate hospital beds.
