Builders Site Protection Now Distributing VersiShield and StringerShield Guardrails

We are excited to announce that we have added Safety Maker's new VersiShield and StringerShield to our ever-growing catalog of surface and jobsite protection products. Both of these Safety Maker items provide a reusable base to quickly erect OSHA-compliant guardrail systems for residential and commercial stairs under construction.

VersiShield clamping system

VersiShield is an easily adjustable clamp to quickly build stair rails. The base of VersiShield swivels, allowing it to be mounted below the stair tread, as the top of the system is fixed in place on the stair tread itself. Using a bolt VersiShield becomes clamped in place, allowing a 2x4 based guardrail to be quickly placed into the system. VersiShield is OSHA compliant and saves builders money due to its quick installation and it re-usability. 

StringerShield stringer clamp system

StringerShield is a simpler rail system for use on pan stairs. It is a non-adjustable clamp that attaches to open stringer stairs. StringerShield is compatible with various sizes of stringers to create an OSHA certified rail system. Like VersiShield, StringerShield is built to allow standard 2x4 pieces to quickly erect the rail system. 

Both of these products are sold by the single unit. Furthermore, both units are reusable, ensuring that builders save money in the long run. To best make these products reusable, they are powder coated to create the longest-lasting finish possible; making these products industrial grade in strength.

Edge Protection Being Used in Innovative Peavy Hall CLT Project at Oregon State

We have provided surface protection to the new Peavy Hall building being constructed by Andersen Construction on Oregon State's campus. The remarkable thing about this new forestry-focused building is that it is pioneering the commercial use of cross-laminated timber (CLT). Because this building will house Oregon State's forestry program, CLT and wood finishes were used throughout the building.

To protect interior and hallways edges from damage, Edge Pro was extensively used throughout the interior. Hallway and interior edges are extremely prone to damage due to how exposed they are. Edge Pro is a low-cost reusable corner and edge protector for interior finishes. Edge Pro is available in two sizes, 2" x 2" x 60", and in the Edge ProTect size 4" x 4" x 48".

We're excited to announce that we now can offer custom printing options for our most popular hardwood floor protection product, Surface Liner Vapor.

Surface Liner Vapor is a breathable floor protection best suited to interior stairways and hardwood floors. Because it is breathable, there is no risk of Surface Liner leaving any unsightly curing lines, and it can be laid upon floors the moment they are installed, preventing any damage that may occur during a curing period. Surface Liner Vapor is available in 54' long rolls and 164' long rolls. 

Currently, Surface Liner Vapor features our company information, pictured above. However, with a minimum order of two pallets of SLV floor protection, 40 rolls in total, your custom logo and company information can be printed at no cost. Walk-Off Mat Floor Protection On Sale Now

For years one of our most popular floor protection products has been sticky Walk-Off Mats. These adhesive floor mats collect and trap dirt and debris from boots before they get tracked onto a jobsite. Residential builders often place walk-off mats at the base of all doorways exposed to heavy foot traffic, keeping the interior floors cleaner  as they do so.

Mobile Containment Carts are used in applications that require negative air pressure for dust and debris containment. Anything from asbestos removal to typical electrical work in a hospital necessitates the use of containment units.

Capable of working on ceilings up to 10' tall, mobile containment units can be easily and quickly moved from one location to the next via wheels.
