Construction Unemployment Hits Lowest Point in 5 Years
Good news for the construction industry! Unemployment in the month of May dropped to 10.8%; the lowest rate in five years. 189,000 jobs were added during May, which was a 3.4% increase over the past year. Employment expanded in both residential and nonresidential construction during May. Builders Site Protection is pleased that the construction industry continues to improve and is excited to provide surface protection products to the many new projects being built.

Builders Site Protection Providing Protection for Knox Middle School
Builders Site Protection has been selected to supply surface protection for the Knox Middle School expansion project in San Diego, CA. Builders Site Protection is supplying general contractor Suffolk-Roel Construction with corrugated plastic sheeting and other surface protection products.
The project began in mid-2012 and will bring Knox Middle School a new two-story, 40,000 square foot classroom building. The project is expected to be completed by October 2013. In addition to the new building, the project encompasses modernizations such as HVAC, locker room improvements, and more. Builders Site Protection has been a long-term supplier for Suffolk-Roel Construction and values their lasting partnership.
